I wish I could write a good review on how this location took care of my needs and did everything smoothly. Unfortunately that has not been my experience. I want to note that every day before I drive my car I always look it over to ensure no major dings/scratches/flat tires have occurred. On Saturday 19, 2024 (a week ago) I took my vehicle to this location to have my emissions testing done. Everything seemed fine after passing until I realized something was amiss via reflection off the glass, as I had driven next door to get a coffee. I parked my car and saw a cigarette bud on top of the roof of my car on the rubber molding, it left a small burn hole in the molding, and so I took a couple of photos. At first I was confused then realized I saw loads of them at Honest Care where my car was and knew it had to be them. I went home first to drop off my wife’s coffee and called to ask about the situation. The manager apparently talked to his staff and so they asked me to bring it down, which I did. I arrived and stated my name and went outside to speak with him and show the problem. He mentioned that yes it was them, and they addressed it with the employee. Now the fun begins, the manager mentions he will reach out to the owner so they could come up with a solution as he is supposed to be in later and they’ll reach out to me but asked me to text the photos. Saturday afternoon passed, no word. Sunday, closed but no word. Monday, no word in the morning so I call. Someone else mentions he isn’t in today and doesn’t know much about it and he’ll leave a message so he can call me Tuesday. Tuesday comes, afternoon has arrived with no word so I call again, “family emergency.” Fine okay I can get that and ask to be called in the morning Wednesday. No word in the morning Wednesday. So call Wednesday afternoon, finally get the manager again. I ask if they decided what to do, and he asks “did you want to have it replaced?” I remained calm and said yes, but not by them at this point just get me the price on the part and let me know if it comes in two or one because if I’m replacing one I may as well replace both. “I’ll find out for you and reach back out to your number. Thursday passes, nothing. Friday has now passed and nothing. Had this been anyone’s paint, that’s easily getting insurance involved and them. Why are they smoking near your car? Why is there a cigarette on my car? Why doesn’t the owner or manager address it and offer a replacement with an eta within 48-72 hrs? Why do I have to write a bad review after giving multiple opportunities to make things right and constantly failing to do so. Yes it’s minor, yes it's not the end of the world but if someone is going to damage my car I want it to be me. Don’t take your car here, if they damage it they’ll leave you high and dry. So I turn back to you honest care, make it right, prove you car about workmanship and customers. You know my number and I know yours.
