I went to Honest for a tire repair. I had a nail in my tire and I was losing air. The staff was very professional and they repaired my tire quickly.

The price is great, however it had me wait for three hours when I was told 1 1/2 hour…

Good customer service, friendly stuff, They are honest they don’t force you to purchase anything but they do recommend what your car needs.

They’re straightforward but tend to reach for things that don’t need to be fixed. Honestly used to be good and reliable. Now they must be losing money because things are being reached. Told me I failed inspection due to a low passenger headlight bulb. I replaced the headlight bulbs on my own and they came in a two pack. Also said I need both control arms replaced. I’ve gotten my inspection 2 other places and neither have said anything about that. I simply went cause it was close, but it was a complete waste of time. Update: I went to craftsman auto this morning and they said nothing about the control arms. Said I need a new lens but they could just restore it for now. Showed me a blinker bulb where the coloring is and the yellow was worn off and all was well.

They have been fine in the past but this time they got us bad! We take all our vehicles to them but this time when we took our car for inspection we got very mixed responses, for example them saying that a bulb is out and they want to change it, I said I can do it myself then when I reached to pick up my car, they said the entire light was broken, which I don’t remember seeing and I see my car everyday. Then they told me that both wipers needed to be changed, I told them that I replaced my wipers a week ago since going into an inspection, that’s the one thing they always want to do, replace wipers so I always change it before hand so they backed off from that one. Then they said there is a cut on the tire, the inside white treads are visible so I took the car to Costco since that’s where I got the tires from, costco said the tires have half life left and that the tire was fine and safe, now I’ll be taking my car to a different place. The Honest-1 auto isn’t really honest. Trying to get your money like Jiffy Lube.

The name of the business won’t fool you. I brought my 4Runner in with a leaking tire that the Toyota dealership told me was not salvageable. Honest 1 plugged the tire and sent me on my way for less than $30. Not only have they serviced my 4Runner but they took care of my xterra when she was on her last leg. Even let me use their rental car when I needed to get to the Commanders game but my car wasn’t finish. Best experience I have had at an auto shop in Loudoun in 5 years.
